Lickety Liver Loving Smoothie
Tingle..zing…pucker…dang! This smoothie, will knock your socks off and cleanse your liver at the same time.
It is loaded with Vitamin C from grapefruit and a whole lemon. Vitamin C is a necessary vitamin and is involved in the repair of all body tissues. It is a powerful antioxidant that assists the immune system and reduces inflammation.
Curcumin, garlic and ginger increase bile excretion. Curcumin, in addition to cayenne pepper enhance regeneration of the liver.
Avocado is a healthy fat to help your gallbladder squirt bile that was made in the liver. The bile then helps with digestion by breaking down fats into fatty acids. Flax seeds are a good source of soluble and insoluble fiber that helps you poop out all the toxins hanging around in your liver.
Garlic is a potent anti-viral and has many medicinal properties, including lowering cholesterol and reducing blood pressure.

Lickey Liver Loving Smoothie
1 grapefruit (or a large orange)
1 lemon
1/2 avocado OR 1 T olive oil
1 clove garlic
1/2” piece of turmeric
1” piece ginger
1 T ground flax seeds
1/4 - 1/2 t cayenne pepper (or to taste)
Peel all ingredients and put into a Vitamix or high powered blender
Blend until smooth. If necessary add a very small quantity of water to get ingredients smooth
Eat with a spoon and think positive thoughts (some believe the liver can store excess emotion)❤️
